IdCARE.UI delivered a dynamic Train‑the‑Trainer (ToT) Digital Forensic course at the University of Dhaka from 10–14 August 2025, led by instructors Mr. Yan Maraden and Mr. Hamdan Abdul Aziz. The intensive five‑day, offline program brought together seven senior professionals from academia, law enforcement, finance, and ICT; every participant passed the final assessment and was evaluated as ready to serve as a main instructor, underlining the program’s success in building local training capacity.

The curriculum blended clear theory with hands‑on labs across mobile, memory, and network forensics, using tools and workflows such as FTK, Volatility, Wireshark, ADB, EXIF utilities, write blockers, and volatile memory extraction techniques. Participants praised the instructors’ delivery, the well‑organized materials, and practical exercises; mock classes and a trainers’ toolkit (slide decks, lab manuals, software links) were provided to accelerate cascade training and reproducibility.

Feedback identified high-impact next steps to increase learning transfer: expand hands‑on time, better align lecture and lab pacing, pre‑configure lab PCs, and supply dedicated Android test devices for mobile forensics. Implementing these recommendations—plus adding an end‑to‑end case study—will convert strong foundational gains into sustained instructor competency and scalable digital forensics training across Bangladesh.
